Morocco festival of tales edition 13… celebrating the Saharawi culture

The 13th edition of the International Morocco of tales Festival celebrates the Saharawi culture and its intangible expressions. Indeed, this cultural event opened on Thursday evening at the Place de Moulay Rachid in Témara under the sign «word for sahara».

Morocco of tales fest, organized from 23 to 26 June 2016, aims to pay tribute to the Moroccan and international oral heritage.It encourage and support storytellers around the world too.

The festival began with the narration of several folk tales and artistic performances performed by several countries as the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, as well as the Moroccan cities of Zagoura, Talsint, Marrakech and Rabat.

Finally, we note that the storytelling festival Morocco of tales is a space dedicated to oral heritage and the speech of masters of speech. And over the years and editions this event has contributed to the support of storytellers whether they are professionals or amateurs
